Sechs & Sieben z’samme is a catchphrase that I developed during my time hosting the Pub Quiz because of how and where I learned German.

Usually, the questions 6 and 7 are two parts of one question or at least connected with each other.

Everyone who has played my quiz has heard this phrase many times, so it was only natural to give the book this title.

I would like to thank Sarah and Kieran for supporting my Quiz since day one and everyone who has worked on those nights.

Quizmaster Moe

Each Quiz Round contains 10 questions, written in German and in English. Usually question number 10 is a music question. Often I’ll give you some song lyrics and the players get 1 point for the artist and 1 point for the title.

Distributed randomly throughout this book you will find a few Theme-Rounds. Some of those have a title to give you a clue what the round is about. Others are Secret Theme-Rounds and you will have to figure out yourself, what connects the questions or the answers.

The Sudoku-Rounds are special: the answers to the questions 1-9 in those rounds, are the numbers 1-9. As in Sudoku, each number only appears once.

This 1st edition contains Freiburg related questions, as a tribute to my adopted hometown.

There will be more German and more English / International editions later. All answers are correct as of November 2023
